We want to be a church that focuses on reaching people to build the Kingdom of God by pointing people to God through the Word of God and toward His Son King Jesus and helping them come out of a life of darkness and into the light.

All that we do is because of Jesus Christ, without him we would just be another group who gather. Our focus is makingJesus the focal point of everything we do because it’s in Him that hope, freedom, and new life are found.

Community-Driven
In scriptures we see the importance of community; God the Father had intimate community with God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We are driven to build community with God as a group of believers and community with one another, as well as with those around us and having a heart of service.

To be a body of believers who know and make Jesus Christ known as Lord and savior. With an emphasis of reaching all people groups and seeing life transformation take place where people experience His goodness and purpose of a new life through the word of God, community and a life of worship.
Our Story
In 2018, after much prayer and seeking God, Darrell Vang and his family along with two other families moved to the Plano area to plant Unity Point Church. In 2019, Darrell was commissioned by Timber Ridge church out of Stephenville, TX, and Northwood Church out of Keller, TX, planting Unity Point Church under the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention. Darrell’s heart and conviction for Unity Point Church is to be an intentional multi-ethnic church of all nations, reflecting the community and bringing life changing transformation through the good news of Jesus Christ, reaching all nations, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Community with God the father, Jesus, Holy Spirit and one another and those around us is where we begin. As we continue to grow as a house church, we are approaching an exciting season of new change and we invite you to join us on this journey.
